One more gem from Mike Filsaime, Tweetglide is really exploding. As of writing this and within days of its launch it has over 3000 members. And mind you it was the quitest launch I have seen in this year, which even caught me unawares. I just made it as soon as it was launched.
What is tweetglide and why am I going ga ga over it? Tweetglide is the newest twitter application with cool features that lets you keep in touch with all your twitter and facebook followers. In a dusty heap of twitter applications that are getting launched and trashed everyday, tweetglide comes as a refreshing piece of application which is a delight to use.
I generally do not use any twitter application simply because the applications take the originality from using twitter. Automated applications dilute the very spirit of twitter. However tweetglide is different.
Tweetglide is a desktop application which you can download from tweetglide.com. It has many cool functionalities that makes working with multiple twitter or facebook accounts.
It has several columns in the home page. Homeglide is the first column you start with. This is where you can catch up with posts from your followers and friends in realtime. Your own posts are color separated from the rest of the posts. You can also switch columns, turn them on or off.
The second column is the sponsored tweets. You cannot move this column from the second position as perhaps this is the revenue source for this free application. It has sponsored posts or ads from members as well your own.
The third column is the @ mentions from different posts which mentions you. Now you can immediately know when people mention you or reply to your posts instantly in a thread.
4th column of twitterglide is the direct messages you send or other have sent to you.
Tweetglide has innumerable features including a paid membership with added benefits. You can also avail credits for posts you make, anti spam protection as you can earn credits only every 3 hours, downline builder upto 5 levels, purchase of additional credits, and much more.
